Shopping

Hungarian shops normally open between 10am and 6pm on weekdays and between 10am and 1pm on Saturday . Budapest has some great shopping and not only for arts and crafts but for fashions as well. Vaci Utca is the Hungarian version of London's Bond Street with some of the trendier fashion stores. Another good shopping place is Nagy Korut. In addition you'll see signs advertising little shops in the courtyards of residential blocks. Some offer souvenirs such as coins and stamps that may be worth a look.
