Health

Here’s to your health!

Hungary does not pose any serious health problems to a Western traveler and has no special vaccination requirements but we always recommend that you stay up-to-date with your shots, particularly when traveling. If you need more information regarding shots, I suggest you check out a World Health Organization site at www.who.int/ith/english. We always recommend that you use bottled water while traveling and stay away from food sold at the street stalls.

There are clinics in Hungary that provide Western quality care and may even accept Western Insurance. We suggest that you check with the clinic directly how the payment maybe arranged.
